Marketing and Content Writer

Position : Marketing and Content Writer

Job Scope

Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print
Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization’s mission to inspire ideas and content
Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs
Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
Partner with other department within organization to leverage and share ideas and make recommendations that apply broadly across multiple channels
Use creativity to develop web, marketing and brand materials that position a competitive advantage for the company
Translate in-depth product knowledge, industry trends, business goals, customer insight into marketing collaterals
Actively monitor industry and competitive trends in the marketplace
Stay updated on current industry trends and regularly generate fresh new ideas for content
And other tasks commensurate with this position

Qualification

Bachelor Degeree / Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing / Mass Communication, Advertising/Media or equivalent
At least 1-2 year(s) of relevant working experience in the related field is required for this position
Excellent presentation and verbal skills in English
Refined creative writing skills
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Ability to collate information from multiple sources to compile accurate and meaningful product and service information
Strong understanding of how to target key audiences and drive conversion through engaging copy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Great attention to detail
Social media marketing experience would be a plus
